SERVICES

James Street Medical provides same-day care by a physician without an appointment.  We are a primary care clinic, but not an urgent care facility or emergency department.  James Street Medical has a no-narcotics policy.  Among the range of services we provide are:

• General Primary Care
• Annual Physicals
• Professional Driver's Physicals
• Liquid Nitrogen and Minor Surgery
• WSIB & Worker's Compensation
• Family Planning, Sexual Health, and Emergency Contraception

Services Available in Building: 

• Pharmacy (including consulting services and compounding)
• Laboratory bloodwork
• Physiotherapy
• X-Ray
• Ultrasound
• Fluoroscopy and other specialized imaging studies

Uninsured Services:

Certain services are not covered by OHIP.  These include, but are not limited to, doctor's notes, driver's physicals, and completion of forms.  These are billed directly to the patient at the time of the visit, in accordance with Ontario Medical Association policy.  Please contact us for more information.
